Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Northwind Granite Manufacturing and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scrap and rework. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
