Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Northwind Orchard Freight is a Rochester logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with loads and lanes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
