Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Northwind Cedar Legal Group is a Detroit practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client files. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
