Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Harborlight Meridian Legal Group is a law firm in Kansas City serving businesses and individuals, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 105 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on trust accounts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
