Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Wren Freight and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on dock schedules. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
