Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Fernwood Vista Construction is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on change orders. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
