Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (remote)

Stonegate North Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the San Diego area. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on attendance records. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
