Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Omaha, NE)

Summit Juniper Legal Group is a Omaha practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 182 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on court deadlines. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
