Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Oakland, CA)

Westbrook Ivory Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Oakland, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on test reports. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
