Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Logistics and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on family communication. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
