Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Kansas City, MO)

Bright Kestrel Press produces print and digital publications in Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 89 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proofing. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
