Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Thistle Insurance Group and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with catastrophe response. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
