Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Jackson, MS)

Amberfield Granite Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Jackson, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pipe repairs. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
