Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Bright Cross Environmental Services and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fleet maintenance. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
