Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Grand Rapids, MI)

Nova Vale Staffing places workers with employers around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on onboarding. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with onboarding. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
