Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Hollow Freight Partners and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a large organisation of about 756 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer tracking. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
