Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Grand Rapids, MI)

Westbrook Vista Community Partners is a nonprofit in Grand Rapids supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on donor records. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
