Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Grand Rapids, MI)

Silverline Timber Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on student accounts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with student accounts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
