Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Northwind Sable Early Learning and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 88 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on licensing records. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with licensing records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
