Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Detroit, MI)

Foxglove Loom Community Partners is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for donor records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 779 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on donor records. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
