Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Bright Ember Manufacturing makes precision components in Des Moines. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on machine downtime. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
