Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Amberfield Nest Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Des Moines. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on treatment plant data. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
