Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Northwind West Freight Partners and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. We reward reliability. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on dock schedules. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
