Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Chicago, IL)

Redstone Loom Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Chicago region, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 181 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on temp assignments. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with temp assignments. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
