Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Lumen Rowan Civic Services and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
