Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Pike Learning Group is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on school calendars. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with school calendars. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
