Senior HR Business Partner - onboarding (Anchorage, AK)

Nova Wren Arts Center is an arts centre in Anchorage with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on visitor services. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
