Senior HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Rivermark Meadow Community Partners is a nonprofit in Chicago supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food distribution. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
