Senior HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Fernwood Iron Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around San Antonio. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
