Senior HR Business Partner - manager coaching (remote)

Highbridge Umber Freight is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 891 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on carrier rates. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
