Senior HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Amber Learning Group and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. Families are partners. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on family communication. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
