Senior HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Oakland, CA)

Greenridge Timber Markets is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on promotions. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
