Senior HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Kansas City, MO)

Fernwood Ridge Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on subcontractor invoices. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
