Senior HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight Vista Housing is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for repair requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 262 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on repair requests. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with repair requests. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
