Nova Oak Foods is a Grand Rapids food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ingredient orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
