Senior HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Columbus, OH)

Nova Umber Civic Services works with county and city offices around Columbus. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on constituent requests. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with constituent requests. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
