Senior HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Ashton Freight and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. We reward reliability. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
