Senior HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Baltimore, MD)

Summit Union Legal Group provides legal services in Baltimore across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 166 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on court deadlines. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
