Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Union Civic Services works with county and city offices around Virginia Beach. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on public records. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
