Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Seattle, WA)

Cedar Umber Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Seattle. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on usage data. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
