Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Seattle, WA)

Silverline Bridge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Seattle, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on carrier rates. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
