Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (San Jose, CA)

Lumen Ember Staffing is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for candidate screening, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 744 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on candidate screening. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with candidate screening. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
