Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (San Diego, CA)

Ironwood Pine Community Partners Associates is a San Diego charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client intake. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
