Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Rochester, NY)

Bright Lakeside Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Rochester presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 103 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on exhibitions. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with exhibitions. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
