Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Rochester, NY)

Amberfield Timber Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Rochester, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on family communication. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
