Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Northwind Sable Early Learning Group runs childcare centres in Spokane caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tuition and subsidies. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with tuition and subsidies. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
