Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Nova Community Partners is a nonprofit in Detroit supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on benefits enrolment. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
