Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Cedar Thistle Learning Group is an education provider in Detroit serving students and families. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 275 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on attendance records. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
