Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Nova Lakeside Freight is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 227 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proof of delivery. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
