Senior HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Highbridge Iron Construction Group is a Kansas City contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
